It seems Wayne Carey can't keep it in his pants and his new 'close friend' is
having a sook about people thinking something suss is going on (which it probably is).

THE LEGGY model said to have triggered Wayne Carey's marriage split has lashed out at critics of the couple, saying people should mind their own business.
"I'm sick of the lies, that's about all I have to say," an angry Kate Neilson said as she prepared to go back to Melbourne last night after visiting family in Hobart.

The ex-Formula 1 grid girl and Indy-race model denied she was in a relationship with the former Kangaroos Australian rules football star, describing him as "just a close friend".

She said: "People need to mind their own business. People need to respect people's privacy, especially with his daughter.

"Wayne and I are just really good friends. That's the way it has been for quite some time."

Ms Neilson, 24, a regular on Melbourne's social scene, refused to say how long she had been close to Carey. ...One person who saw the couple at a trendy North Melbourne pub owned by a former teammate of Carey said they looked very friendly.

"It looked like something was going on and it was very public," the onlooker said. ...Sally Carey's father, Terry McMahon, said his daughter was aware of the Foxtel football commentator's "friendship" even before the birth of Ella Grace on January 12, an event which Carey said at the time surpassed his football achievements.

Mr McMahon said his daughter "had enough on her plate at the moment" in raising her first child.

He added that if Carey turned up at his home again he would "be going home in a box".

I don't like Wayne Carey. Never have, and I don't think he is in the slightest way attractive, but I suppose a high profile gets you whatever girl you want.

Even though what he did was wrong, I think at a time like this it would be hard on his wife and him, and a bit of privacy should be respected.

Carey is a ****er and his brother Dick certainly lives up to his name. He lives up here, Wayne comes from here, and Dick is known around the place as a bit of a troublemaker.

But he's a famous footy player, so it's all good........ :

It is sad when a great sports person is only really remembered for the stupid things they do like this.. People are way to quick to shoot down someone that is good at what they do (the sports I mean)!!!!!!

Warney's a good bloke. Sure he has done the dirty but there's a lot of people who do it every day and it's not fussed about in papers.

We were at a restaurant recently and he was there with Symonds. My mum got a photo with Warney and they were all really relaxed and genuine. But damn, they must get sick of the attention!
