So we're looking at two "new" Ceratos.
One is base model, other is "Premium" which IIRC is their 2nd of 4 trim levels. It's basically $3k more. Apart form the usual random stuff, line chrome handles, leather steering wheel, etc, the major bits that it has are as follows:

I'd pay the $3k.
Steel wheels are pox. Reverse camera is ace. Auto headlights are quite good. Sat Nav is probably great for new drivers. Where I work is also a Kia dealer. They are generally really good. We don't see many faults at all. |

I'd get the highest trim level you can afford. Ultimately it will cost you less over the long run as you will enjoy and love the car more and therefore keep it longer and look after it better.
A brand new car is too much of an emotional decision to go all sensible at the last moment. |

None of it is necessary, but reverse camera and satnav is quite handy. Having it built in means she's less likely to be fiddling with her phone, which can be dangerous.
Auto headlights are great. And yes, you can still turn them on when it's rainy or a bit gloomy, because chances are they haven't turned on. |
