Was a great night until they decided to pretend to clean the track with the tractor - I am sure they could of had more than 1 dumb *** kicking the tarmac with his shoes then brushing it with a broom.

Before everyone starts on me yes I do know why they have to clean the track but my complaint was there only seemed to be 2 guys doing it out of all the officials there - 1 driving the tractor and the other with the broom.

I left at about 10pm as I had enough of waiting for the track to be cleaned.

BUT upto then it was great - even a Charger turned up :

Watched the Ford Boys go hard core - GREAT JOB BOYS

It wasn't a very big turn out, the weather must have scared a few racers off.

That track clean up seen to take forever.

Too right! They had a bit of bad luck with cars dropping coolant/oil on the track too.

I suppose it is worth noting the fairly comprehensive Ford win in the burnout competition too hey? The BMW had a fair go, followed by 3 pretty poor efforts by Commodores then the XD Falcon came out and made the whole place disappear in smoke.

Too hot for any quick times. None of the Turbo guys did good numbers last night and i packed it in pretty early. My times were just going backwards so no point in pushing the car for nothing.

May get into one of the Ford magazines. One of the photographers out there got some great pics of my T. Forgot which mag. Anyone know??
