This is what I don't understand.
Everyone says politicians need to be paid huge dollars so that the best people are attracted, usually people with massive wealth and corporate ties, so that they can lead the country etc. Why don't we elect politicains that want to be in politics simply because they want to help society? For example, Doctors become doctors because the want to help people, vets become vets so that they can help animals, scientists/nurses become scientists because they want help society. Even though they get well paid, they didn't choose their career paths simply because of the money they would earn. That's the kind of people we need to lead this country.

Anyone who becomes PM does not lead much at all, as such will have to deal with others who have control over him in many ways. We just have so called leaders that can talk a lot of BS and get away with it, as that's the number one job description, must be a good BS artist. We are controlled by the rest of the world mainly and more so nowadays with the biggest idol of all that we must all look up to now, the Political Correctness god. That PC idolatry god now has all the power to push anyone around and everyone must worship that moronic whore PC god nowadays. The Money whore god rules the rest, if there is no worth in something it won't be bothered with, end of story. |

I find it ironic that a motorcyclist is campaigning for road safety. They're a minority road user with a majority presence in the road toll. I'd say ban bikes all together but they do help cleanse the gene pool...

I really hope that you never get to any position of power in this country. You sound just like a Nazi!

I've got no problem with speed cameras either, don't speed and you won't have to pay a fine or worse still with yours or someone elses life.

Fair enough, shall I edit it to 'natural selection' has anyone got a problem with Darwins theory?
I object to people putting themselves into a vunerable position and then expecting everyone else to cater for them. A simple risk matrix is all thats needed. Riding a bike, speeding, splitting lanes etc all have an inherent risk, the more you do it, the greater the chance of catastrophe. I'm sorry this politician lost her husband but I'm sorry I had to see a corpse come from under a truck in a cloud of blood spray. At the end of the day stating that speed cameras are ineffective is just appealing to unsafe road users in a bid to get a seat.
