Weekly Race 4 Real Report: July 13, 2016

Wednesday night Race 4 Real off-street meets continue to be one of the most popular events on the Sydney Dragway calendar and it’s quite easy to see why!

Here are some great performances from last week’s Race 4 Real at Sydney Dragway.

Top Holden of the Week



With a best run of 12.28 @ 116.63 MPH, this bright blue, tyre-chewing LJ Torana was a true showstopper.

Top Japanese of the Week



We all know the kind of go the infamous Lancer Evolution is capable of with minimal modifications and this EVO VIII MR showed exactly that, running a best time of 12.24 @ 113.09 MPH.

Top Rotary of the Week



You’d be forgiven if you thought this was of the many RX3’s we see here at Sydney Dragway. It’s in fact a Mazda 808, a closely similar sibling of the RX3. With a best run of 13.76 @ 101.70 MPH, this 808 is certainly nothing to be trifled with.

Top European of the Week



The euros continue to amaze, with this Audi RS3 running an incredible best time of 12.18 @ 114.35 MPH straight out of the box.

Top Ford of the Week



This sleek BA MKII Falcon Ute pulled off an amazing performance with a best run of 12.75 @ 117.72 MPH.

Commentator’s Pick of the Week



This gorgeous Mustang had to be packing something serious under the hood with an insane best time of 10.80 @ 120.61 MPH. It looked the absolute business as well with that big scoop and dazzling black paintwork.
