Cheap fuel guages, where is a good place to get a 2" one?
I dont particularly want to spend more than $30 for one. |

to you need one for a particular car, if so try FTG auto salvage, send them a email or phone them up..

i dont require one that will go in the dash
just a cheap underdash one to do the job supercheap does sell those sorts of things right? |

You have to get one to suit the sender in the car, no idea how you find this out.
I just bought an autometer one for my torana and a aftermarket sender to suit. It was around $130.

Bunnings mate . $3.30 or there abouts for a broom stick, cut it to length and keep it under the drivers seat !

yeah....
i just rang an instrument place. Pain in the *** part is that i have lpg and the sender is inside the tank so I have no way of determining the impedance to match an aftermarket gauge to it. So they reckon I need to pull the dash out and to replace the regulator on the dash $88 and to fix the gauge is another $55 bucks, im tired of this ИИИИ heap costing me money. |

is there anyway of finding out the senders impedance values without pulling it apart or doing the checking it at full then at empty?
