Lets see how this one plays out....... I hate these rumours and the waiting !
Sounds similar to the Mercedes A45, from memory they had tune to limit rev's until certain distance travelled to allow the engine to run in/settle, then it was a trip back to the dealer to have said limits removed (probably at great cost also)

A little taster...low km cars:
2000rpm = 193kPa inlet MAP
3000 = 210 kPa
3500 = 220
4000 = 237
5000 = 237
6000 = 251kPa
That doesnt look derated to me!😀
470Nm from 2700-4250 rpm on slow accel
Still 450 Nm at 4750ish rpm
VERY stout midrange...😆😆

June22 cant come soon enough 😣

Cant imagine it would be any different to the 1.6L and 2.0L Ecoboost engines

I'm pretty sure that the gearbox and the rear diff use a special oil spec by ford

Yes, absolutely..gearbox, PTU (power tranfer unit to rear), rear diff and the GKN rear torque vectoring units ALL require unique FORD spec lubricants...the GKN TVU needs addition of GKN additive as well...in most of these though the replacement interval is very long...

Eng oil is 5w50 GF4 spec from memory..max oil temps around 280F during "high-duty "operation without derating oerformance😉

It does appear the June 22nd holdup was Chinese whispers, unless perhaps the situation just changed with all the grumbling online and customer to dealer. Landed numbers aren't huge even overall this year but there should be a smattering on the road by end of June given the few ships that have already dropped their loads already. Spotto time begins for the Focii enthusiasts ;) This car is one helluva achievement for Team RS

Mrs cheech went to the dealers to inspect ours prior to PDI.
She is Very impressed with how it looks in the flesh.

There is definitely a ford memo on 22/6 release date.

With the news that some have already been released I'll be pushing for a Tuesday 21/6 delivery.

Live in VIC. Wholesale dat was Jun16. Mine only had a journey slightly longer than 1 hr west from holding yard in Altona (PrixCar)

If you have premium (forged) wheels you may be waiting longer...

Std wheels were shipping from Jun16. (cars that arrived on MV Oberon or MV Tosca)
