Gday
I would like to know what the differences are between a 2014 fiesta power shift gearbox and the current 2016 dual clutch auto gearbox? The earlier gearboxes had issues similar/same as the focus issues. The power shift gearbox is still a current option on the current model. |

As far as I am aware they are the same gearbox. A neighbours 2014ish WZ Fiesta has been back 3 times for gearbox troubles, whether that has changed in 2016 I don't know, but unfortunately I do doubt nothing has changed.

Surely ford would not still fit the problem some gearbox to the current issue fiesta?

Well at the moment yes, but in the Focus they have changed it back to a regular automatic. I'd say it's only a matter of time before they do the same with the Fiesta.
