Hi and welcome! I could do with one too, I recently reversed over a visitors bicycle, which he had borrowed from someone else.
Don't know is my short answer. I might have a look at my info collection when I get home from interstate. |

Question is going to be where will the display be in the cabin?
I'm on the lookout for neat solutions. Ideally there would be a way to hook into the existing converse+ screen and override it when reverse is selected. Sent from my GTi-9305 using bloody Tapatalk

I was looking at a Jaycar flyer today. They have a wifi setup with a 4.3" screen for about $150.
The left rear of my wagon needs some paint. No panel damage as it's all plastic, but I've backed into a trailer and a couple of cars (at night) in the last few years. Between the tinted windows and blind spot, it was surprisingly easy to do! Sent from somewhere using Tapatalk

Camera output on the Convers+ screen would be awesome, but unfortunately it's not going to happen (without a lot of clever hacking and reverse-engineering).
The default option for an integrated installation would be to replace the stock headunit with an aftermarket multimedia screen like is discussed here and hook up your camera output to that. It's a good plan if you have an LX but unfortunately for the higher grades there's no good options presently that don't lose Sony/Convers+ functionality. There are also some reversing camera kits that replace your rear-vision mirror with an integrated screen, but again you'll lose something if you have the stock electro-chromatic mirror. My current thinking is to get a dual front-and-rear dash cam setup with screen, and just use the rear cam for extra rearward vision as needed. I was looking at something like this K1S but the latest word seems to be that the reliability isn't where it needs to be on that particular one. I'd mount the screen to the plastic surround by the headunit as sailaway does his GPS. |

I too was thinking of the K1S as a solution but I think I'll wait until the second generation.
