Not an official club event, I'm planning on heading to WSID/Sydney Dragway this coming Wednesday from some drag action. Not doing anything fancy (like booking a lane), just going to put the GT-P down the 1/4 see what it does as it's been many years and many mods since last time.
Anyone that wishes to join, you'll need a 1/2 day off work, as we leave here at about lunch time to get to WSID for gates open at 4:30pm, get signed up and scrutineered for 6pm start to racing. Racing finishes at 10pm. Anyone new to drags, you need closed shoes, wrist to ankle clothing (jeans/hoodie etc.) and a helmet meeting current standards (cheapie motorcycle helmet is fine). And you car has to not leak anything, and have good steering and brakes and a secure battery. Happy to answer any questions you may have. Weather (at this stage looks ideal - warm day for a hot track, cool night for power and no rain). Who's in?

How many runs would you normally get on a Wednesday night?

been a few years since I've been, but typically 4-5 is easy, one night it was quiet and I got in 8 and probably could've done another few.
You never reall know though, it depends on how many entrants there are, and if things like crashes/oil downs/rain occur or not.
