Watched an old Top Gear episode where Jeremy was testing one on a track. Hilarious under steer.

Ok when they were new but buying one it would be worth looking at an Audi S3 (2000ish) or a Wrx.

Epic thread mine and Facebook levels of literacy all in one post...
As for the Astra, I actually quite like them. Cheap as dirt now days, electrics must have been a hand-me-down from someone working at Lucas... But they're a hoot to drive. I've been quietly contemplating one as a weekend toy/hill climb/track hack. |

Hi SKIDKID,
You might be on the wrong forum BUT I have some "go fast" number plates you might need. They are genuine GMH Victorian Holden plates reg No. GMH SRI with the Holden emblem. As your new to the forum you may not be able to message me so I will try to send one to you.

I bought one of these 2003 Astra SRI turbo as a daily last year. Bloody surprising how quick they go. It has a few things done to it, but its faster than my NA6 falcon which did a 13.8 down the quarter.
If your looking for Astra performance parts go on facebook and look for Australia and New Zealand Turbo Astra Owners Club.

Jesus!
I never ended up buying one of these, I got a Polo GTI instead. It was an awesome car too.
