Hopefully someone on here can help out with a problem my daughter has with her radio. It appears that all of the radio controls are inoperable, the display lights up but there is no sound at all. Does the WS Fiesta radio need a code if I disconnect power.

From the owners manual, but yes code required if you disconnect the power: Security Code: Each unit incorporates a unique code that is linked to the vehicle identification number (VIN). The system will automatically check that the audio unit and vehicle match before allowing operation. If a security code message appears, please see your dealer. |

same issue last year with ours - was buggered radio/control panel. Dealer confirmed this, then quoted $400 to do the job. I walked. sourced a replacement through wrecker, delivered for $110, removed old with a screw driver, popped off wiring loom, reattached to new fascia panel, screwed back on done in 30 mins
