Hi everyone,
What oil are you running in the diesels? And where can you buy the filters from, or does everyone get their filters from the dealers. My filter appears to be the cartridge type according to RYCO website but want to be sure. My other car is a '95 MK3 Golf and it was easy to find parts online or locally. Thanks, and looking forward to the discussions here. |

I have my eye on Penrite HPR Diesel 5 Engine Oil - 5W-40 for oil, is that fine?

Penrite's lube chart says that is OK for your car.

I would be cautious about changing the fuel filter as the diesel needs to be bled to get air out of the line or it will not start.
