Exclamation Tire Time again

It's time to replace those terribly noisy Eagle F1s on Euro4d so I have started a thread asking for some advice in the applicable Tech Forum.

Being other Focus and Mondeo owners, your advice is important, as I am away on exercise and am trying to do this from several thousand kms away for the cars user back home.

The thread can be found here:

I know some of you guys have had good and bad experiences, or know of somewhere good in the Sydney - Newy area to get them!

Thanks... Tim

whats the budget Tim? If I didnt have a budget I would look at Pirelli or Michilens, have always found those to be the best tyre ableit a little expensive.

I am looking at 180-250 a tire if I am just buying rubber by itself, but seeing as the tires need to be replaced anyway.... hmmm.

I don't want the top of the line, but I do want safe and quiet. The Pilot i an excellent tire, as I have used on the family Accord, but I have been quoted as high as 575 each, which I had a hearty laugh at. That's Newcastle for you.
