Lucky the Australian media now has another good looking drug chick to focus on after Corby comes home and disappears in to insognificance

It's a pretty sad indictment of modern society when cases like this are blown way of proportion with what's going on elsewhere in the world.

It's easy to blame the media for the over the top coverage and incessant badgering, but realistically if people didn't watch the trash reporting, didn't click on the links to read about, didn't comment on all the social media articles about it then the media wouldn't put so much energy into covering it.

You know why they put it on?

Don't blame the media...blame the morons who demand to watch this stuff.
This thread is proof people love it.

It makes no difference to the media, it's cheaper and easier for them to run a WW2 doco.

People wonder why we get served up crap like today tonight and ACA.
Because the majority demand it. It really is that simple.

The parent should have been locked up the moment the filled out the name when her sister was born. Name the kid after a car you could afford. Then growing up the mum would only have to yell "torana, stop annoying chapelle".

G'day Already started again .What are the media going to call the Aussie girl in Columbia
"the new Shappelle Corby " are they ?. It's media driven. Shameful exploitation and ratings driven . Remember the Chamberlain Trials circus and the Meryl Streep movie in the 1980's..
The buggers just can't help themselves..
You do the crime . You do the time.
Oh yes , when is the Corby movie deal going to get done perhaps ?
If that was to happen , maybe some of the returns (if any) should go to a run a decent
drug programme in Indonesia somewhere.
I used to be a golf greenkeeper , we got corby and cockchafer infestations in greens ,teebeds and mounds and we had to get rid of them . Indonesia seems to be finally getting rid of a Corby or two also.
Cheers Rod..

Best joke I heard was that she's gonna have a panic attack when she uses a Coles self checkout for the first time

Checkout: "Unexpected item in the bagging area"

Corby: "Ohh f**k not this again!!"

Saw something on Facebook today about multiple convoys leaving Brisbane airport driving in opposite directions after she arrived.
My question is WHY?
No one cares about her except the media.
Saw a video of the convoy, they were driving like they were in Syria or something. Multiple black SUVs across all three lanes of the motorway with cars swerving from the far right lane to the exit. What a joke.

So many people say no one gives a hoot but clearly many do. Yesterday she opened her first Instagram account and within hours she had thousands of followers. Today at her house in Logan, which is NOT the Gold Coast, police were called to handle the traffic and there were bucketloads of people standing around the house on the footpath cameras out. So someone gives a hoot. Just like someone started this thread.

Why aren't the cops "talking" to her about smuggling drugs out of Australia?
I'm sure they cleared the baggage handlers & they've had plenty of time to build a case.

It will die down eventually and just when everybody has nearly forgot about the bogan from QLD, Current Affair will pop up with some pathetic attempt at ratings about how Corby is on the pension and her family have ripped her off etc.
