Do you mean the old cylinder push mowers. I use to mow a 24 perch block with one of them. It was a circa 1930's style.

I'm still scarred from the experience.

Um, I'm talking about grass mix, I'm asthmatic and I’ve done several surveys/test and they test a whole lot of things on your arm by pricking the skin and then putting the liquidized sample (grass mix, dust mite, cat and dog fur eg) where they pricked and if your allergic to it, it comes up and itchs and what not, Grass mix was one of them along with the likes of dust mite, so it proves that I'm allergic to it.

I love my push mower!! Following growing up dragging 4 stroke mowers up 3 terraces approx 25m via stairs. Always swore I'd never do that with my own place & have been a very happy 'pusher' since we bought this place 10+ years ago. No petrol stored in the house (al;l the other yard equipment is electric) & I can get started nice & early in the summer without ****ing off the neighbours.

Yes. Thankfully, I got wise and put some tennants in my property who now pay me for the privilege of living there and mowing the full half acre by hand. It was *such* a joy over summer, to spend hours slaving in the yard every second weekend, just to keep the place from turning into the Amazon of the Central Coast.

If/when I move back in, I'm redrawing on my mortgage to get a frigging ride-on. End of story.

Kerry, how do you find the push mower? I'm thinking of getting one soon and am leaning towards the push type instead of petrol.

Does it do a good job and is it hard to push around?

Mate it does a great job, it takes a little to get used to but its worth it in the long run.

As long as you get the height right its not hard to push.

Yeah, I figured that! hahahaha I just reckon for a normal sized yard it's better to pay ~$100 for one of these than $400+ for a motor mower + petrol + oil + servicing, (+intercooler+NOS+motec+stroker kit if you're Laminge :nutsycuck ) etc...
