Default Ford 2013 focus trend tdci oil filter location?

I have a 2013 Ford Focus 2.0L Trend LW MK2 TDCI diesel hatchback car. I want to replace engine oil filter by myself. Who know where the engine oil filter is located? Thanks in advance.

It should be on the top in the engine bay to the left.

I made a video about it https://youtu.be/5fIqehWKJzY
Hope it helps.

Your video helped a lot but any tips on how to get the throttle body pipe down enough so the plastic cover will slide by it?
Your video shows the TB nearly level with the cooling hose, mine wont go anywhere near that low?

Actually a neighbours car...I have Falcons...thought an oil change cant be that hard!!

When removing the plastic piece it was even lower than you see. Check out the area around just below the throttle body pipe. Make sure there are no obstructions and just feed the pipe down.

Honestly it required a bit of force and I pushed it down only just enough to get the clearance. It really is tight for space down there, not impossible though.

Good luck.

You can get the "crows foot" tool that let's you undo the filter but haven't tried that and apparently even with the tool getting the filter out once you undo it is still a small challenge still need to get the cables out of the way.

3 hours later it's done...a Falcon takes me barely 10 minutes.

I unscrewed the long bolt the plastic thing sits on to get it out easier.

Wont be buying one of these for my taxis!

Thanks for the reply.

nice one, yeah, good thing the Ford spec is 15,000 km between changes, Peugeot spec for this same engine is 20,000 km so 15,000 is apparently conservative. Good thing too, haha, would be a pain to do it the 'normal' way...
