Default WA Ford V Holden Drag meet

How can anyone miss thiss, Who is coming to help ???

Friday March 31 2006
KWINANA PERFORMANCE
Presents ...

THE HOLDEN
vs
FORD
CHALLENGE

One of the most popular street meets of each season by far would be the Kwinana Performance Holden vs Ford bracket event.

This season Quit Motorplex will be holding two Kwinana Performance Holden vs Ford events, the first was on Friday 4th of November 2005 and second will be held on Friday 31st of March 2006.

The event is open to Holden/GM and Ford bodied vehicles and will follow slightly different format which not only rewards the better drivers but will allow more time for everyone to get more runs down the track instead of being eliminated early in the evening.

Competitor Gates open at 4:00pm and you can enter you car on the day at the Competitor Gate for just $40 ($35 for ANDRA Licence Holders) and that gets you and you car in to the Motorplex.

Qualifying will start at 6:00pm and run right through until approximately 9:00pm at which time the Burnout Comp will start. During that time the fields will be seeded by REACTION TIME and the 4 best reaction times from each bracket will race off in a Big Dog style shootout using dial your own handicaps, straight after the Burnout Comp. So as you can see you don't have to have fastest car just be the best driver. The benefits of this style of racing allows more runs for everyone and still produces a winner and runner up at the end of the night.

The following Brackets will be run;

Sportsman (SM) (Open exhaust ok)
ANDRA 'Race only' Super Sedans and Super Street Ford / Holden/ GM vehicles.
Winner receives $200 credit, Runner up - $100 credit. 2 x Semi finalists - $50ea credit.

Super Street (S/ST)
Street vehicles 0 - 12.999 second ET's. (Must be Muffled / Slicks ok)
Winner will receive a double Gold Pass to the Top Fuel Challenge on November 19 - valued at $84
R/Up will receive a double Silver Pass to the Top Fuel Challenge on November 19 - valued at $70

Street (S)
Street vehicles 13.00 and slower. (Must be Muffled / Slicks ok)
Winner will receive a double Gold Pass to the Top Fuel Challenge on November 19 - valued at $84
R/Up will receive a double Silver Pass to the Top Fuel Challenge on November 19 - valued at $70

All Finalist will receive a Winner or Runner up trophy.

BURNOUTS:
The first 5 GM and 5 Ford powered 'neat' Street vehicles to nominate will be able to participate in the Kwinana Performance Best Holden and Best Ford burnout comp. The Top Burnout will receive a Trophy.

Additional event information can be obtained by contacting the Quit Motorplex office on 9419 6622.
