Default 7 seater Territory with 4 child car seats

Hi, I have searched the internet high and low for images of a 7 seater Territory with 4 child car sears installed and am coming up empty handed. Is there anyone out there who has a 7 seater and 4 car seats that can take some pictures for me please? Also, if you are able to get a pram in the remaining boot space behind the 3rd row, I'd also love to see a picture of that too.

Thanks everyone!

Child seats in the third row would be a nightmare! I could only fit a stroller in the back of my territory with the back seats up

4 baby seats is possible - we did it once but less than ideal. As for fitting a pram in the gap behind the 3rd row...forget it.

KIA Carnival or similar is a better bet.

I'm only asking because I've never had the need to to do it, but are there anchor points for the third row seats? I can't recall seeing any?

If there's no points, then that would rule out the use of the third row for any sort of child seating.

Will have to check the user manual tonight.

We have four baby seats in our SZII Territory Titanium.
The two eldest boys sit in the 3rd row and the two babies are in the middle row. The seat directly behind the front passenger is left free, as this needs to fold down to access the 3rd row.
It all works pretty well actually, much better than we had expected.
Rear cargo space is tight, but we still manage to fit a pram frame in the back once you remove the wheels. We have a bugaboo and a city select double and they both fit once you practically disamemble them completely.
Shopping and anything else we need to fit usually goes on the front seat floor and anywhere else we can find space.
It's not ideal, but there is no way I'm buying a minivan, so we make it work!

First of all my condolences

Now you can get 3 car seats across the 2nd row in the Territory (not many cars can). but forget about getting a pram in when the 3rd row is up.
Even in a Kia Carnival you would struggle.

Prams are pretty big I suggest looking at small fold up strollers.

Or look at a Hyundai Imax / Mercedes V class..

Not entirely true...
It's small, that's for sure. And the way the anchor straps fix to the floor doesn't help either. But surprisely, we can fit even our double pram frame in the back. The wheels on the City Select click off quite easily (most prams should have this feature) and it folds quite flat. It slots nicely in the gap through the glass opening. Don't open the tailgate door though, as it will fall out.
The actual baby seat and bassinet get placed on one of the free seats inside the car.
Only need to make it work like this for the next year or so. After that, won't need the pram so much.

The anchor points are at the back of the boot area at floor level in the plastic trim - near the spare wheel winch cover. They are bolt holes only and need to have an anchor point/hook attached.

Now that I've seen Peps' photos, it's all come back to me. Amazing how much you forget about when you don't have a need for them

No problem, my pleasure.

If you haven't yet purchased baby seats for the 3rd row, I have found the Mothers Choice Tempo Convertible seats to be a really good fit. They have a shallow back (so the kids face isn't hard up against the seat in front) and they are hinged between the base and the back so they fit to the angle of the seat perfectly.

We have a Strider Compact that I'd like to keep, and considering the wheels come off nice and easy, I'd be surprised if we couldn't get the frame in the boot if it's possible to get the city select in 😊 looling forward to finding the right Territory!

I have a feeling the Strider Compact may fit even with the wheels on. The wheels are much smaller than on the City Select.
From memory, it folds nice and flat with a slight wedge shape that should slot nicely into the back glass opening in a vertical position between the car seat straps.
Good luck finding your next Ford Territory. As a family vehicle, ours has been faultless and such a great versatile car. Our boys love sitting in the back, to the point we have to have a roster to avoid fights.
I highly recommend the leather seats on the Titanium, so easy to keep clean.
