Default Going into limp mode on highway

Hi.

My 2011 diesel is going into limp mode after about 2 to 3 hours on the highway.
I got a cheap scan tool off eBay and the error is p2263.

In the past I was advised to change an $800 dpf injectior in the exhaust.
That hasn't helped.

My 2011 diesel also had limp mode and p2263.
Replacing the boost solenoid fixed it.
Same thing happened with our other 2011 diesel, same fix.
In both cases the valve was mooing on switch off,
which may or may not be a sign of impending failure.
In any case, the new valves are quiet.

two common areas for that fault:
3. Boost actuator (as said above)
2. EGR valve stuck open

also a split turbo hose is said to give a similar code.Does it judder around 1800rpm? (pretty sooty)
