Is there a solution to storing compressed hydrogen gas to prevent it from leaking out of its container?

I don't think a metal hydride storage approach would work in this application. ?

I think Hydrogen fuel cell technology may be the winner over battery storage electric cars in the future.

The biggest advantage is it only takes 3 minutes to refuel a car, and it would be very easy to have refilling infrastructure installed at many existing petrol stations.

It is being taken very seriously by the following car manufacturers;
  • Toyota - Available now (USA)
  • Honda - Available now (Japan)
  • Ford - Launching one soon
  • Audi - Have a prototype
  • BMW - Releasing theirs in 2020
  • Mercedes Benz - In development
  • General Motors - In development

We live in interesting times.
