Coolum to be more specific. Been going there for nearly 20 years. Changed a lot but most of it is for the better. Its just instant holiday mode for me. Mrs Ringo has been there twice and is hanging to get back there. |

Dicky Beach on the Sunshine Coast
Any small country town where the kids can ride around freely and it only takes 5 minutes to ride anywhere. |

Mallacoota, Cape Conran, Corringle Beach, Buchan and Hollands Landing. All fairly close to home but no phone reception so I don't get annoyed!

Last time I was over there Kev did still have the pub(although I do have a vauge recollection of it being up for sale a little while ago). My dad lived there for years, used to own the Garage on the right hand side as you come into town. He hasnt lived there in a few years now though and dont get over there quite so much these days. Does camping at the caves reserve count as real camping though? :P |

Macau! Awesome hotel there that treats you like royalty no matter what budget you're on. Not to mention the exceptional food and outdoor resort! Also a very nice City to explore... Except maybe the terrible casino's of cause!

My favourite place was Steward Island down near the fierce 50's, where most cruise ships don't visit.

Currently off the Victorian coast aboard the Pacific Eden on a short 3 day getaway from Sydney back home and is the epitome of a bogan holiday, bogan ship full of bogan Adelaidians.
Its a comedy cruise but should be a food tasting event as theres more rolls on display than the bakery section at Foodland.. Mind you, $150 for 3 nights at sea is still cheaper than 3 nights at the Elizabeth motel even if the scenery is on par. Last edited by BENT_8; 08-02-2018 at 10:10 AM. |

If you live somewhere near Sydney - check out the Conjola Lake Holiday park. I've visited about 10 different holiday parks on the coast south of Sydney and this one we liked the most. Two main reasons - (1) kangoroos are freely jumping around the park (this is really nice if you have visitors from overseas) (2) the lake is shallow and very nice for kayaking (kayaks available in the holiday park)

After 20 odd years in OZ we wanted a slower pace, so now in Wellington. Love Cuba St, bit of everything.
