Default Shannon's Wheels - Sun 4th March 2018

Hello All,

Shannons Wheels will be held in March this year on Sunday the 4th.
It's Council of ACT Motor Clubs' biggest car show of the year and it would be great to see a lot of you there.

From the Shannon's Website:
https://www.shannons.com.au/club/eve...s-wheels-2018/

"The annual Shannons Wheels vehicle show will be held on the Queanbeyan Showground on Sunday 4 March 2018.
Wheels is open to the public from 10.00am to 3.00pm on Sunday 4 March at the Queanbeyan Showground. Entry by gold coin donation.
See our Facebook page at: www.facebook.com/events/398546063893027/

Cars can enter the showground from 0800 - DON'T arrive at 0945 and expect to get in easily. We need all cars in place by 0945.
Wear a Hawaiian shirt or a car club shirt to enter the free Autoglym prize draws.

The Council Mayor, Councillor Tim Overall, and his wife Nichole, will be present at the display to select the Gentlemans and Ladies Choice vehicles to be awarded suitable trophies.

We expect around 800 vehicles to be on display varying from vintage, veteran, classic, historic, modified vehicles, and motor cycles all to raise money for Technology for Ageing and Disability (ACT) Incorporated (TADACT) which make and alter equipment to aid older people and people with disabilities.

This year a 6X 4 steel trailer, complete with Sunraysia wheels, a cage & jockey wheel provided by Resort Trailers Queanbeyan, will be raffled with the money raised going to TADACT. Ticket will be available on the day for purchase, one for $3 or two for $5.

Wheels has been held every year since 1982 and has raised more than
$400 000 for charity. Vehicles from western NSW, the South Coast, and region are expected.

Wheels is held by the Council of ACT Motor Clubs and organised by the Canberra Antique and Classic Motor Club which is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2018. "

When: Sunday 4th March 2018
Where: Queanbeyan Showgrounds, Glebe Ave, Queanbeyan NSW 2620
Time: 10am - 3pm, meet at 7:45am in the Q car park for entry at 8am (50 Lowe St, Queanbeyan)
