Can't get a new actuator until next week some time
Repco have one at the Warehouse but at 10-4pm
too late to get it

Got the Door Trim off is there a way to force the window
up so I can drive

Weather forecast is good but we know Melbourne

Where is the best place to get one
200+ is OTT for a window actuator

Can I get the window permanently up so at least I can

I can supply one in Melbourne if you're stuck and provided it's electric not manual. PM if interested.

I know this is an old thread, but....... for future reference, you can cut the winder cable (not any electrics!) to free the window, then prop it up with a piece of wood between the bottom of the glass and the bottom of the door.

I used some scrap wood that I cut to length (really just eyeballing it), then held it in place with a large cable tie between a couple of holes in the door frame.

Another trick is if you have a battery charger ,is to remove door trim ,locate the electrical loom for the windows switch an see which wires move up then reverse polarity to wind them down us IJSjng just the battery charger to supply the power

An the window wiring loom from the interior switch goes to the window loom to the battery
