Fuelmiser PCV rubber grommet, $39 RRP from Repco Auburn.
Even they thought that was ridiculous, I offered them 10 bucks (which I thought wasn't worth it) and they took it.

I wouldn't feel too bad about that, last Ford pcv grommet I bought genuine 6-7 years ago was about $22. 2 weeks later I discovered one almost like new in the garage parts bin , always good to have a spare.
Cheers.

I was in a local store a while back and overheard a conversation with a staff member and another customer the staff member said that they have a daily quota that they have to sell something in the order of $1200 worth of parts a day or face the consequences.

There isnt a quota system in place, but there is a bonus scheme where if the store meets certain sales/profit/freight recovery targets they get a few extra dollars....

That said, if the store doesnt perform, the manager gets a "please explain" and may have to reduce costs.
