Hello,
Most folk with lots of cabbage are usually " faulty products from the factory " Money is a curse on humanity, most of us like getting paid every week, but in reality they are just " your average garden variety " person. Some of us are born great and others have greatness thrust upon them, but money is just a tool, I would sooner be poor but of good character than filthy rich and greedy with a devious character! But like all inventors they love to invent! Then some marketing guru will see a big money making venture and pay to produce this "product", the inventor don't care because he gets a bigger workshop/lab to work in. But Elon Musk is both, he's an inventor and a damn good business, sure he's greedy and money hungry, not sure if he scams others though, some folk are just super greedy and try to ride on Musk's ability to make more cabbage for themselves! He has something we don't have, and good luck to him and all the problems finding the money to pay wages and entitlements to his tens of thousands of employees. He's no different to Virgin Boss Richard Branson!...some folk attract wealth and some don't, the world does not work if we are all boss's, no one gets rich, its a good balance I think. And remember to take your personal issues out of the equation when condemning these folk, things like envy and jealousy! Cheers Billy. |

He is a good salesman. Promises the world, gets everyone hyped, delivers only half of what was promised then gets the same people hyped over something else. ctrl+c ctrl+v
Not many companies could do that successfully. |

Lmao - that’s big business in general.......operates behind smokescreens of BS.
Whatever makes money. Geez what happens when ya buy a new car, for some reason you NEED paint protection because of bla bla BS. Whatever gets the cash over the line. An endless amount of industries run their spin daily and it brings the cash in. Musk is a great businessman and probably a great poker player too. |

Hello,
You should read Tesla's autobiography if you really want to understand him. I spend one day a month at my local library, I do it for two reasons, firstly it fills an otherwise wasted day, and I take/loan 4 books a month. I only read autobiography or biographical books of great people throughout history, occasionally scientific and technical books. I read one book a week,if they turn out to be junk I just read another! But I did read Tesla's auto biography, and for those folk who don't know " a biography is written about another persons life by a writer, and an autobiography is written about the author by the author " But Tesla wrote " My Inventions " the Autobiography of Nikola Tesla " Its a very interesting read, from his birth in Croatia and his home and family life, all the way through his time in America along with his business interests and inventions! Elon Musk has nothing on Tesla,he's not even got the talent that Tesla had in one fingernail, Musk is just a pioneer of sorts who uses others ideas and betters them using very advanced technology, things that Tesla achieved with his mind Elon Musk achieves with a computer and very advanced technology, not his, but others he employs come up with the goods, not Musk himself! Cheers Billy. Last edited by slowsnake; 27-07-2018 at 10:25 AM. Reason: punctuation and "auto spelling" mistakes! |

You can say a lot about Tesla but he's likely accelerated the development of electric vehicles from the mainstream manufacturers, they were sitting merrily on their collective hands for a long time. Which isn't a bad thing. Though i'm not hot for a car that goes whirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Now everyone and their dog are developing the things

He managed to sucker the SA government into paying for his Eveready contraption, but that might not have been too hard as they appear to be bit dim over there, like their power grid.

The "crazy brilliance of Tesla", you really think Musk comes up with these ideas himself?...I think not, he is a farmer who has a lot of sheep follow him around all day, the sheep come up with the solutions to problems thrown at them by Musk. If they don't he gets more sheep until he gets what he wants, and eventually he gets it! Tesla was not Musk, Tesla worked things out with pencil and paper, he did not have access to the tools Musk has, he did not employ others to think for him like Musk does! He himself thought with a thing called a brain, yes a brain and apparently the use of the subconscious mind, like most inventors he was a dreamer, Musk has none of these virtues, zero, Musk makes money for a job, and others get paid to come up with the goods. Cheers Billy. |
