Lucky bastards.

If it was a Ford you'd just get told "they all do that" and nothing would be fixed.

You bought a Jeep.

I can't laugh, my car decides to turn off or not start randomly. Anti-theft so good the owner can't even deal with it

I cant laugh either my terri would randomly call people from my call list whilst cruise control was on and that's when the cruise wasn't randomly turning it self off or the sync2 system wasn't desync'ing with the phone whilst dur in a call
and it would lock it self out of the phone system for the touch screen set up or after reversing and coming of from the reverse camera it would lock it self in to the phone system but with out the key pad part
must have been a jeep territory

I sold my Jeep because I got sick of all the recalls. That and the death wobbles.

Court orders Ford to pay $10 million penalty for unconscionable conduct
Quote:
The Federal Court has declared, by consent, that Ford Motor Company of Australia Limited (Ford) engaged in unconscionable conduct in the way it dealt with complaints about PowerShift transmission (PST) cars, and ordered Ford to pay $10 million in penalties.
The Court held that Ford’s conduct in responding to consumer complaints about Fiesta, Focus and EcoSport vehicles fitted with PST between 1 May 2015 and 29 February 2016 was unconscionable
and then theres the ford exploder , I mean explorer
every ones heard the stories about these , heck I was often told by friends not to by one and when I did every one (not just friends) told me I shouldn't have bought it
ford never told me bout any recalls whilst I owned it I always had to chase them for these
but in all the time I owned it it was a dam good vehicle and I upgraded to a terri (read above ^^^) coz I wanted something with a diesel , still regret doing so and wish I had kept the "exploder"
