Hi all,
I know the MD Mondeo Ecoboost is 'optimised' for U95, but officially can take U91 but with 'potentially' lower performance or fuel efficiency. I'm not interested in philosophical or theoretical debates on this, but rather on real world experience of those who have run on U91 for a good period of time/distance. What's your feedback on efficiency, noise/smoothness, long-term impacts, etc.? |

my old man gets 98 simply because it goes further, seems that 95 always gives much shorter distance. I'll get an estimate on what he gets for his and post back.

Evanlau, this thread might be a good starting point; https://fordforums.com.au/showthread...10+fuel+mondeo Yes, that is "REAL WORLD" figures (for E10)...

My wife insists on using 95 (because it's cheaper than 98), but the motor pings like crazy with 95 if you put your foot down when the auto is in a low gear. 98 cures this problem.
I'd hate to see it try and run on 91 ! |

Sorry, I got that all wrong - my wife fills-up with 91 (and it pings), but runs nicely on 95.
