It already has, however my understanding is as it's still in development (pre-production model), I'd imagine it won't hit the streets stock with a sub 3. A bit like when the numbers were crazy fast when the XR6T was still testing.
What it does show at the least is its potential. And I'd still be all over this even if it comes out with sub 4 seconds stock. As for economy, if it's anything like the current Jeep SRT with the 8 speed, you will need a tanker following. It's not to bad cruising but put the boot in and there's a price to be paid for pushing those kind of weights quickly.

I've been wondering for a while if we will see a run of Charger Demons after the 3300 Challenger Demon run is done before the mid year retool next year for the 2019 model refresh..............it might be tempting for Dodge to also claim fastest 4 door sedan bragging rights when most costs are already amortised.

I have only seen a few of these around but just at Car Shows although that changed on Saturday at the Geelong Revival Motoring Festival.
When I was watching the 1/4 mile runs the fastest was a 10.8 BUT the Trackhawk did a 11.2, the guy driving it said it was his tow car and it prob went faster later on in the day but not bad for a heavy beast. This was on an unprepped near the Geelong Foreshore. The people calling the event on the loud speakers lost the plot with talking dribble and not calling out ALL the times when there was a run so I am not sure what car went the fastest on Saturday

THat is flying. I noticed there was a Ford Territory that did a quickest of 11.1 (Cars Saturday - Run 4), which is quick, and there was a 2008 4L turbo falcon doing 11.7 as well.. |

I had the same issue looking at the time sheets on Saturday until I asked him - I did not think to look for the number 41 rather than the vehicle make
