bruce.lee5@bigpond, earlier I was a little blunt with you. I apologize.
Dont know where you are but seriously Dept Fair Trade, Consumer Affairs whatever it is in your state, go visit them. Be polite and warm to them, (they are public servants and need caring for )

Yes, might have a bit more success than coming on a Ford Forum and complaining about a Fuso truck...........

Maybe try head office and talk to them. You would think there should be someone there to talk to if the dealer refuses.
https://www.fuso.com.au/Contact Otherwise speak to the consumer affairs in the state you bought it. If you haven't given the go ahead to repair maybe have a look at someone else to rebuild the box if the other two fail.

Thanks for the heads up Ben.....Have been in contact with ACCC and made formal complaint. Your right.....they say "it would be reasonable to expect more than 91000ks". Keep you informed.

Sorry hayseed. It isn,t superior knowledge. For your info windup is when you try to feed two different ratios into the same ge****t. This is can be caused by running different size tyres front to rear. On a hard surface even the difference between new and worn tyres on different axles can cause windup.A lot of 4WD,s have slightly higher front diff ratios than rear, but on soft surfaces this doesn,t cause any problems. Once you get to the transfer to gearbox connection there is only one ratio involved,so no problem
