I don't have a "Focus" logo on mine, does it only come on First Gen ones? or only on Zetecs?

Looks good, I like the dual exhaust tips. I head up to the gong quite a bit so if I see you I'll give you a bit of a flash.

Sorry to post my own garbage in your thread. The car looks nice, love the colour, love the tint, kit, tip, height. Just not too sure about the alloy, it's certainly unique, but I'm not sure I like it. If you do that's what counts ;)

Cheers for the comments guys, any more suggestions what i should do? I'm gettign the rear bar chopped next week i tihnk and the tip move up into the gap above it, toher than that i'm tihnking of getting some of the plastic parts on the outside made to look like they're chrome, door handles, mirrors, strips along the sides, the strip along the top of the rear bar and the strip above the rear number plate, hopefully if the car is completely clean and it's a suny day i should be able to blind most other motorists with that amount of bling...

hm... well yesterday after i uploaded the photos i went for another drive and got pulled over by 2 lovely police officers, they defected me for ride height, wheel diameter, the exhaust, and the window tinting, all of which (other than maybe the windows) are actually legal so i'm not sure whether or not i should take it further or just go get the "defects" "cleared"

That sucks. I guess with a car like that you're bound to draw attention though. Why was the exhaust classed as a defect? Too loud?

That sucks. Unless it's de-catted and has no mufflers, it shouldn't be illegal.
As for the rims, 19's might be the largest you can legally go, best to check the NRMA website or the RTA site for details. Tinit is definitely too dark, unfortunately the rims would attract that. Car does look awesome, love the plates too!!! Just get hte defects cleared and let us know how you go!

The officer said that "sports exhausts" are illegal, which is a complete load of ИИИИ, the window tinting he wasn't sure about but he gave me a formal warning about the p plate on the inside of the back window, for some reason the tyre placard on the inside of the door fram said the car came out with 15's so they had a go at me about going 5 inches bigger aparently i'm only allowed to go 2 larger even though i rang the rta and that rule no longer exists the new rule is the overall wheel and tyre diameter must be within 15mm of the original wheels, as for the ride height i think they were just lying it's at least 10cms off the ground all around....

That's a mystery about displaying your p plates. I thought that they ARE designed to be fixed to glass as it's been a long time since I've seen holders that you attach to your rego plate. I'd check that one out with the R.T.A. or (if you did) your driving school instructor.

Mmmm, IMO those alloys are just toooooo much. I can only imagine what the ride quality would be like, I prefer to keep the fillings in my teeth without them being shaken out. It's hard enough on the standard 17"s. And how come you don't have black surround headlamps on the Zetec ?. Any interior shots coming ?.

Defects cleared, even though everything on the car was legal, payed to get a pink slip etc. and went to the rta to get it all cleared properly and the police had ticked the wrong box on the form so i never had to get them cleared in the first place, thinking of taking it further, this is why domestic cops should not attempt traffic offences

Oh dont worry too much, your going to get pleanty of attention from the pigs mate. Just keep that pinky handy for when they decided they are bored and pick on you again, that way you can tell them to get royally rooted.
Im orginally from a wonderful little town called Deniliquin, my car attracted much attention from the local ****ers, uh i mean "police". It got to a point where we ended up in court telling them to ИИИИ the hell off and go find a real criminal. All this keeping in mind my car isnt yet lowered has 17's on it and a cat back exhaust system. Oh yeah and another funny doughnut cop moment was my mates skyline. They booked him for having no radiator cap, he looked under the hood and goes "but.. i have one?" and the cop points and goes "no you dont, dont be a smart ИИИИ you little *****" (thats no lie he did actually say that) so my mate points out to him that he was pointing to the screen washer tank, not the radiator cap. |

Yeah... the main problems i have is with domestic cops, highway patrol know what they're talking about and tend not to hastle you unless you've done something wrong. i want those same cops to pull me over so i can slap them with the pinky and get their badge numbers to report them for harrasment
