Hi guys
Does anyone know if the seats from a hatch are compatible with the wagon? My wagon has 475,xxxkm and the seats need to be replaced. Found a cheap set of leather seats from the xr5 model and would like to know if they would fit? |

Front seats should go in fine, though I don't know about the electrics (if any). Your wagon is an LX? If you have powered height adjust currently then you should have something to work with.
Rear bench I dunno. XR5s were sedans weren't they? So the seat backs wouldn't have anchor points, ergo would be a different part, ergo the shape/moulding could be different. You'd have to try it and see I guess. |

Yeah I have electric height adjustment so not to worried if I have to run some extra wiring for the fronts. I know the xr5 mondeo is still technically a hatch and all the seats seem to fold flat in both with the anchor points being on the rear of the seats for both. I just can't find any information online about it haha.

Hmm, if the sedan(?) has child seat anchors in the back of the seat and latch and fold in the same manner then there's a good chance the rear bench seat is the same across the sedan, hatchback and wagon body styles, as the floorpan and dimensions all the way back to the rear wheels is the same for all (as opposed to say a Mazda 6 where the sedan and wagon have different length in the wheelbase).
That's just me guessing though! |

Only thing I'm unsure of is if the rear seats lift like they do in the wagon to put the seats completely flat.
