Default strange parking place

Surely this must have been posted here before....

I notice RHD, early WA plates, strange looking taillights- (USA/Canadian?)

try and establish a time line between date of car left out paddock, age of tree etc

You will have to look it up yer-self, but it was put in the tree by property owner Eddie Ford as part of a publicity stunt for a book he was publishing......

Eddie was pretty big in the Hot Rod scene years ago, he was one of the original guys that came up with the idea of starting an Aussie Hot Rod magazine, the mag was Custom Rodder which im sure some of the older guys here remember...

Besides Custom Rodder, he also published Americar Australia, Custom Vans and Trucks and histories of Ford and Holden.....

Chairman's Award: Chairman's Award - Issue reason: Your outstanding contributions to this community have not gone unnoticed. IN my view you are a worthy recipient of the (rarely used) Chairman's Award.

I believe it's in the Muckleford area of Victoria, they are old VIC plates.

He also published 'Restored Cars' as well didn't he DJR?

**Edit: Just googled and yes he did. He certainly had the Aussie old car scene pretty well covered back then!
