As cool as Explorer is, I just know that we'll never see it here, the best we can hope for
is a better 3-row Endura that's not a hatchback and has a 2.0 EB engine option. and FNA should be getting Ford AP to do all the RHDs for our Region as a batch project, I think that's the only way to get the expertise and efficiency of engineering to make all of this work The yanks and Ford Europe are certainly not up to the Job of doing "specials" for our regions Quote:
I'm betting that you'll see it as an option on Titanium or Sport next year some time. Hearing that Police Interceptors will be mostly 3.3 V6 Hybrids, GM and FCA can't touch Ford in LEVs this year, if Explorer is massive hit, they may need an overflow plant, maybe Oakville. I'm actually liking the Idea of PHEVs lately.
I'd replace my Grand with a 444HP Explorer. So I guess I won't be replacing it any time soon. |

I'm generally really anti-SUV but I do quite like the Ford Explorer, it looks tough.
