Just watched the last episode last night and considering how long we had to wait for the last series, it was a very............ unsatisfying.... experience and I can see why the tragics are up in arms and demanding a rewrite.

I stopped watching when she didn't use the dragons the way I liked when fighting, it became unwatchable for me, the wife loved it ( until the finale). Any way it's all over now ( apart from endless repeats on Fox of course)

yer a real pity the writers couldn't keep the standards of the beginning through to 3/4's.
Wife and I loved it till the content was falling apart. Overall great viewing, the early ones were mad to watch. Its done but not the way most I expect wished to end, the fairytale lol....... On Netflix we have been watching some other good series, Bloodline, just finished watching the other night but funnily similar to GOT the last few episodes lost the plot.

I really wanted Cersei to win. It should have been perfect for a story like this where the good doesn’t always win.

For me it was always a story about the STARKS and how they wove their way through the politics and the bloodshed for the Iron Throne. The ending was kinda just a full stop on their story and their journey - not necessarily the story about the Throne itself or any of the other characters that came and went. The only real surprise for me was Bran the Broken...... I had my money on Tyrion. All good - now for the plethora of cheap prequels and spin offs.

I enjoyed the first 4 episodes for the last season, but I think they mightve ended better on the direct aftermath of episode 5 rather than getting too political.

there is no way that the final episode was going to be a hellfeast, Like many TV series endings it was a wrap up of each characters journey. If it was anything else like a cliff hanger, social media would have melted down.
All the blood and guts was spilt in episodes 3 and 5. There wasnt much left for them to accomplish there.

I enjoyed it but was disappointed at the same time.
It was good but should have been soooooooo much better. So many seasons of character development and most characters just went nowhere. The fight against the night king should have lasted multiple episodes, not done and dusted in one. All that subterfuge about Jon’s ancestry and it lead to nothing lol. Bran ended being like boof from back to the future... he had the script and manipulated it all to win the final prize while simultaneously doing sweet fa... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I enjoyed the last episode, it was fitting, but all the hype smothered it.
The last season should have had more episodes - especially where it mattered. |

It was far too rushed. For years all we heard about was white walkers and in one episode it was all resolved. Dani went nuts in the space of three episodes, Cersi went just like that. This season should at least have been 10 episodes long, and I think they could have gone to a 10th season.

I really enjoyed it, took it for what it was. They had so much to wrap up in this last season I actually think they did well. It would have been cool to see Danny just dominate all cities at the end but that was never going to happen.
I loved the way they tied up all the characters at the end. I thought they pulled off the last episode, I thought i'd be left asking questions, I had none.
