Rust
Simply defined as Any of various powdery or scaly reddish-brown or reddish-yellow hydrated ferric oxides and hydroxides formed on iron and iron-containing materials by low-temperature oxidation in the presence of water. AU Simply Defined as Best modern Falcon ever built but has a slight weakness RUST! This thread: We try to nail this evil red menace and strike it from our precious steeds! So lets post up Rust photo's prevention items (sprays,oils remedies or any fixes). Post up pictures of location you have found and locations you have remedied what is your go to method and where should we all be looking. Thought the other thread is a bit old and want to sort of consolidate the various rust threads! Au's are only getting older and rusting more by now.

The cavity in behind the front wheel arch apron is a cracker, collects a heap of **** and is absolutely cherry ripe for tin worm.

Yes, and fortunately like an English car that's been "salted" it mostly rusts outwards, so the repair is not too bad. But a total design fail, even the XK was smarter.
