The OP article indicated that there were 460 Rams on order and to cut the three month
waiting time to a month, they were going to three shifts. So that's increasing monthly output from 150 to 450, is this short term or more orders coming? |

Good on them, above my price point currently but I can see myself picking one up in the future used. 6 Seats, tray and 4x4, there is nothing else I need.

How much do these people get paid? I thought we were told Australian car manufacturing went bust because our workers demanded a livable wage.

Good to see demand for these big pick ups, seen a few getting around lately.
I was talking to a guy last week who just bought a 37ft fifth wheeler he and his misses are living in but have nothing to tow it with yet. They really like the RAM but want a duallie 2500-3500 sizes, looking at a bigger modified Chevy Silverado. 30-35 footers are become popular. car-ching....

Butchered is an understatement!!!!
The plenum vents and all the pedal/brake booster supports are spotted into place with a MIG, then sprayed with a rattle pack and gummed over with some deadener. Horrific... I thought theses vehicles have some kind of intetchangeability built into them? |

Wonder if it means the petrol 200 series would go from the 4.6 URJ to the 5.7?
If you read the upcoming 300 series rumours, URJ to be replaced with a 3.5V6 hybrid for the petrol version (Diesel remains). Tbh, this has some appeal, diesel economy without $1K per injector.
