Hi all,
If you bought your Mondeo new and it was fitted with Continental Contisport Connect tyres and which you have now replaced, would you drop a post telling me what distance you got from them? I guess that anyone who has fitted this tyre to a Mondeo and worn them out would have the same information, so a post from you will be welcome. My interest is that it is looking as though I'll get only 35,000 km out the tyres on our car and this is only 77% of the distance I got on our previously owned MA Mondeo where we used Bridgestone and Dunlop tyres (Potenzas and SP Sport 01s) With advance thanks for any responses. Cheers

Pretty sure there is nothing wrong with the alignment because the wear is even across the tread to within fractions of a mm and the car tracks truly on level pavement. I'm just wondering if Continentals tend to sacrifice wear in favour of roadholding. I can say that I'm not happy about the tyre noise which is bordering on being objectionable on most surfaces except smooth recently laid bitumen. Thanks for the advice. Regards

I got 25,000kms before I replaced my front set.
Now at 44,000kms, tyres are getting noisy. I've seen some factory Mondeos with Eagle F1 A2s, so I'm thinking I might try putting 4x Eagle F1 A5s on them next and see how they go.

I am looking to replace my original continentals which have done 31k.
Not sure what I am going to go with next as the range is a little limited in the 235/40R 19 size. I doubt I will find anything that is going to last much longer than the ones I have now. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk |
