Default Cargo Nets

I've learned the hard way with a Bunnies special; the "open webbing" type are a recipe for grief.

Now looking at my need for a cover, mainly to stop flyaway light debris (garden thinnings, broken plasterboard). Always strap over the top with ratchet strapping ×2 anyway.

As a couple of others less au fait in this sort of stuff will be using the "new" ute, I don't to expect them to be handy with strapping over shadecloth and prefer to keep it simple so the onus is upon them to do the right thing. It's better than getting a litter penalty in the mail.

Who here has bought one of the reinforced mesh type covers?

There are a bunch of brands I see and prices start at about $90, heading north of $600. Risk of theft or incidental damage leads me towards the lower end prices. Anything to avoid like the plague?

Fleabay 173836798362 looks like it might be a goer, subject perhaps to the input of others with more experience.

Get a rated web style one. You won’t need to them strap over the top and they won’t get tangled

Truck part suppliers sell the quality stuff. Similar to army cargo netting or try a army surplus store, if they still exist in Sydney.

Cheers, I ended up buying online - but yes, a load-rated net. I'll probably still ratchet strap it over the top, being sure to be sure.
