My wife has the same model. One thing I don't like is the 5km/h increments for the cruise control. I'm also surprised the digital speedo isn't standard.

Agree with your cruise control comment, although the digital speedo now makes it easier to lock in the exact speed you want.

Used Forscan + an adaptor to enable the digital speedo on the Trend hatch. Pretty simple. There are other features you can play around with and enable.

Now, if only there is a feature called 'build quality' which you can toggle to 'average' or 'high' instead of 'low'....

Yes, I had to get used to the 5km/h increments when I first drove the car. Even without a digital speedo, you could set it to a speed in between those increments - you just had to set it to the nearest 5km/h (lower or higher), then manually get it to the speed you want (accelerate higher or cruise lower), then press set again. I got really good at reading the analogue speedo, but now with the digital speedo enable it's much easier..

On a (hopefully) final note for this thread, I had the Mondeo in for first year service recently. Got the dealer to look at a bunch of rattles that developed (speaker in front door, dashboard, rear seat belt assembly). They fixed them the best they could, though not 100%. Very common apparently, and dealers would be lucky to get $60 for the hours of work they put into it..
