have you cleaned the exhaust gas re-circulation valve?

Check for vacuum leaks around the inlet manifold , spray throttle body cleaner around the manifold flange and associated parts to see if the engine picks up in revs at idle.
If it does then you need to pin point were the leak is . IE the inlet gasket to head , injector O ring etc

Check for collapsed engine mount (the one under the coolant reservoir). You can tell if there is any rub marks between the bottom of the rubber and the top of the lower aluminium housing. if there's rub marks, its collapsed.
Has this vehicle had a clutch replaced? If so could also be that the clutch mounts to the flywheel have not been torqued up to the right torque and in the right sequence. Also check spark plugs and coils. |
