Default $129 Ford Service

I suppose everyone has seen this ad?

it says pre 2003 models so i take it everything before 2003 gets this service for $129?

what would be involved anyway i guess its only a minor service so oil filter, 5L oil, 21 point check + spark plugs??

thanks

Is that just Falcons, or other models as well?

My mum's Laser is due for a service (130K), and it would be fairly easy to just drop it off when in town at TAFE, and let her use my car for the day.

Haven't seen the ad but just had our Gas powered barge in for the 90.000 (B) service. Cost was $250, not too bad considering it included spark plugs, air filter, oil + filter and fuel filter... oh and a 30c sachet of stuff for the windscreen washers (!)

My last service on my ba 45,000km service was 169 bucks. No replacement of the air filter. This was due to my air filter in mint condition

You will find it is $129 plus.
They lure you in with the cost, get your car on the hoist and you leave after paying $500...

Would imagine, oil + filter + safety check & LABOR.
Best way to find out is ring them or check out a dealers website.
Jarvis in Adelaide offer a $29 service.
Very basic & done very quickly.

Thats what they told you, what you dont see is that they actually just get the paper ones out, blow compressed air thru them, then the idiot mech drops it before he puts it back in your car for another 15,000.

They hardly ever replace the things if they dont have to. Why? cos who ever checks their air filter after a service...
