1521a isnt a regrind.
or atleast they don't like doing it as a regrind, they prefer to do it as a billit.

yeah they won't do the 1521a
i have valve srpings...high stall...fuel pump...injectors and chip all in mind so don't worry bout the informalities... just wanna know the most powerfull regrind |

Me thinks JMM DEV 5+ cams are the most street legal powerfull cams, or does he get his cams from Wade? :

Sounds strange to me as i had a 1521a in bout a year ago and keith had no drma's doing it as a regrind as long as it was on a stock cam and that i machined the pedistals instead of shimming it due to changeing lifter angle to much ? ?
Maybe he has had a problem with them reground as i ran it for all of one month before i got around to changing it as it was far to big for my aplication. Jmm would be the most powerfull reground cams around by far but at a cost also apparently he used to get wade to do them in the early days but he hasnt for ages (that is romour) have no idea but he doesnt use wade thses days |

if you ring up wade they will even recommend the 1636 over the 1004-114. The dude told me that "we have advanced past that"

With a 300deg cam you would make peak power at 6500 rpm, and you'd want it to be able to rev past that to at least 7000rpm. Not gonna happen without at least a set of ARP rod bolts. Would give a lot of turbo boys a scare but and would probably be able to run 12's sorted. Ivan Tighe, and Clive cams also offer regrinds. The biggest streetable cam would be bugger all larger than 230deg @ 0.50" as power would be so close to the rev limiter its not funny. Unless you are going rods. Thats my opinion any others?
anyone running more than 0.530" lift? Go for 0.50" specs as cam names don't mean sh*t. |

I know a guy with an EB XR6 who had a large billet cam in his ride for a few yrs now. Sold the car to buy an XR6T though. He claimed that he had to die grind the head to allow the cam lobes to not hit the head deck. Have you had to do this? |

i have no problems at all with P.T.V clearance, cos i have a 2.5mm headgasket..
the cam is 114deg LSA it has minimal clearance to the head, i did check it with a feeler gauge cos i thought that may be what it was jamming up on, but it wasnt... being billet i havent had to alter the pedestals at all, ive got a photo of where it was hitting oh, and its not solid, still got std hyd lifter that was the intial grinding, i had to do it 3 times all up to get it to clear |
