Gentlemen,I'm in search of realistic $$ advice as to what these bits and pieces are worth.I used to have an xw fairmont 30 years ago and stumbled upon some parts I had put aside. I know places like rare spares have got most of these parts however the side mirror intrigues me with its part number stamp. Also its weird how the steering wheel pad has a pinch on the metal edge of the larger holes,is this a replica ?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. |

As with anything, its worth what someone is willing to pay. Just search around Ebay or the alike to get a feel for what they go for. Note original parts will always be worth more than the reproduction stuff that Rare Spares and the other shops sell, especially if they can be restored to new.
A lot of the old Falcon parts from that era were shared or originated from the US for Mustang, US Falcon, Torino etc. Where are you located? |

A lot of those steering wheel centres seemed to collect 5 cent pieces in the biggest holes, so they probably got damaged by someone trying to get the coins out

Many reproduction parts are available, but if someone wants to rebuild with 100% genuine parts they will be worth something (Ford part numbers are worth $'s)
Aerial, I paid $50 about 30 years ago (and the bloody thing didn't work) Headlight surrounds, do they have a stamped part number? Petrol Cap will be worth a few $'s Mirrors if in good/mint will be worth $'s Steering wheel boss - if it is undamaged then will be worth $'s Washer Bottle - throw away Gumtree or eBay for indicative prices. Or talk with your local Ford GT club |
