Default Bongo's Covid 19 Project

Not to be outdone by Cav's Big Project...

I had a crack at making a Pocket Hole jig today with bits and pieces that I had laying around at home...

As you can see, I was wearing all the appropriate safety footwear...

I deliberately staggered the distance between the tubes to allow for different applications...

And the final result...

I may or may not have to make another one due to the inadequate angles used in the prototype...

Any positive feedback or coaching is welcomed...

Working backwards...

Yesterday's Covid 19 Project was having several cracks at tinting the windows on the Zombie Van...

Not bad for a first attempt...

I don't have my own place so I can't compete with you guys. So far it's playing nintendo wii and gamecube games, cooking and I'm going to get springs for my BMW e34.

Also today I bought a shemagh so I fit into the future post-apocalyptic world. I have fishing gear but local fishing ****s don't share much info (they want to keep the good spots to themselves- or more likely you need a boat really ) so I haven't done anything with them. But they'll fit on the roof racks of my ba ute when I go mad max driving into the horizon wearing a shemagh.

Staying put until I get a mobile power source for a wii and tv

Well, in the last few weeks I've had time to start a veggie patch...

I re-upholstered our outdoor furniture. After learning to redo the upholstery on the yacht, I was persuaded do more... it saves having to buy new stuff! Nine seats and one table in total.

I found the native bee hives have gotten crook, and needed help. I split some hives several months back, and three hives weren't thriving... I reckon they had no queen, so I robbed some healthy hives...

To help out some dying hives...

Fingers crossed!

And I got a new battery for one of the cars so I could wash it...

It's been a productive few weeks, and now I have to go back to work tomorrow. Bumma!

I think the wooden thingy would have looked betterer if you stained it, or as we used to say in my day, varnish it.

We asked him if the engine had actually been called “Seagull” and how that came about.
“Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”.

Too old and too much of a hermit these days to shift to the big island but you've inspired me .

I have a nearly 30 year old Cox Stockman ride on that needs restoration .

I reckon that's a project I can make a dent on and skin a few knuckles into the bargain . And a model railway mountain to build as well...then it'll need a tunnel I guess and extending the BUS wires to load power the signal lights ..

I can do that ...

Today's Project - Refit the cupboard door latches in our caravan, as when I installed them originally, the plastic trim affected the alignment and the doors would only open intermittently.

Trim off...

A bit of graphite grease for the latches & some locktite for the bolts...

Much better...

Hi Roddy,

You were nearly there with your pic.

Instead of just pasting the link into where you type your post, you need to click on the icon that looks like it has two mountains & a moon on it...

Once you click on the icon, a box will open up and you paste the link into there.

Then delete the additional info in that box until you have just the information that you need before you hit submit. The link below is an example of the info you need. Don't click on it, it's just there to show you.

https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...1cbbeeeb_c.jpg

See how you go...

Thanks very much...For some reason I have trouble with pics from my phone sometimes which I tried to use to load a shot of the ride on mower before I try to get it sorted.. I do use flickr and have no trouble much via a normal card that I take from a standard camera to load onto flickr but my camera needs batteries that I didn't have ready ..

Just me..I'm a doofus with tech stuff that anybody else doesn't find that hard . I'll put it down to an age thing .. Cheers .

Thanks for the help ...Cheers.
