Great choice.

I had one a service loan car last year.

I wasn't a fan of the previous generation Focus but the new one is a big step forward in many areas and feels way better to drive. I loved the ST-Lines steering wheel.

As for colour, my vote would be for Ruby Red, it really pops in the sunlight.

How good does the steering wheel feel? It's a tactile delight

Curious, are you considering the Wagon version at all?

Nope.
The wagon version didn't appeal to either of us and we really don't have any need for anything other than a hatch with just one or two of us in it being the norm.

I have seen a few Titanium versions of the hatch that caught my eye though. Prices are dropping daily so I might hold off for a while longer.

In a months time they will be very cheap. Unfortunate benefit of covid

I also had one as a service loaner. Aside from the ride being a little firm, it's a great car to drive. I just wish there was a manual gearbox.

I noticed a slightly firm ride too, although not a deal breaker.

That said, anything rides comfortably for me coming from a single cab Ranger or an R-Spec equipped Falcon.

Mondeos have always been dear for body parts. I would have just bought another one, theres some big discounts on ex Ford factory ones floating around (not many) but yeh.

My Mrs loves hers not sure what we will replace it with.

Enjoy, great choice.
Love to hear your feedback on the lane centring feature. In the short time I had the dealer loaner, I was like "gotta turn this off".
Oh, and enjoy the B&O sound system too. The subwoofer sits inside the spare wheel, which was a surprise to me at the time.

Thanks, I'll let you know how that lane centering goes.

Photo of the purchased one is now attached.
