Default Perfect time to buy a new car?

My Farther-in-Law has been interested in buying a Ford Everest for a while, he was just given a quote of $43,000 for a new Ambiente 3.2l RWD, with 5 years free servicing! Is that a good price?

Sounds like a great price, but I’d encourage him to get the 4x4 version if possible.
