that's all good to make assumptions that some cars are getting rarer cause there are less for sale...but...how many businesses are closed at the moment? I tried ordering aluminium from Capral...nope...closed...try getting an exhaust repaired...two week wait....auto trimmer to fix a torn seat...not answering phone...motor cycle wreckers...no answer the list goes on..... There will be plenty of bargains when the rot sets in... hint:jobkeeper ending

People are flush with early super withdrawals and high govt support.
The crash will happen imho when the stimulus ends and the super money is spent. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I agree there is likely to be a change in spending behaviour if/when the gravy train slows down.
If that exposes a market with reduced income, depleted assets, reduced employment and overall lower creditworthiness either the financiers will need to launch a new game for propelling new car sales or there will remain a bunch of people who by lack of choice are owning/maintaining povo cars. Which will support wreckers and related black money industry. |

Totally agree, I've never sold so many USB truck manuals as I am now. Restorers locked up must be working on them.
