Recent BA styleside (half tonne) ute purchase has a mixed set, three of the black highlighted type and two of the multi-spoke model. All have BSA centre caps.
  Can anyone kindly assist with nominating the origin/name etc of either type? I’m not a wheel-watcher, generally preferring OEM, but looking at my options here for similarity and cost control. |

The top ones are BSA 264 hyper black
The bottom aren't in the BSA catalog so they are either no longer produced or a different brand

Cheers, still trying to work out a strategy.
Either get some tidy 16” alloy tonner wheels or try to make a full set of the 264s. |

I say keep your eyes to the gutters and pick up 4 oem’s from something with good rubber already on them CB. Be cheaper in the long run.

I'm onto a set of four tonner alloys via a mate, but he wants too much for the scrap car they come with.
 YF: I tried that, nothing turned up.

Terry 17s are apparently load rated to 850kg/cnr.
 This style might work, seeing loose BSAs aren’t common. Not sure if the aesthetics are too “heavy”. |

Hi,
The aftermarket wheels usually are only available about 3-4 years, until something else is offered, and you struggle to buy one spare. If I've had a car with aftermarket wheels I try to find a 5th spare immediately if still available. I have seen BA XR Mk II wheels cheap some times, often with kerb scratches etc. You can fill that up and re-paint with 2k silver car paint and clear coat, but it takes a lot of time. Almost easier and cheaper to get a set of new wheels of the latest offering from the tyre shop. But same as you, it is easier to have OEM wheels, less questions at the inspection. I have seen the Territory steelies used a fair bit. (base model, not the spare wheels). They are 17 inch and have more offset than std. ute |
