No Ford produced 280,000 and Willys produced 363,000

Just speculating,
Wouldn't it be funny if that Unicorn V8 Ranger was a test bed for something else,
perhaps a reason to do "something great" and maybe bundled with other applications.

but then, it's easy to get carried away and read too much into rumors that may be unrelated.
